Chip to Face Malware

Intel Corporation, a leading computer chip manufacturers from the United States plans to add security features to mobile devices a computer chip that will be planted directly in the production of their chips. this is done in response to the increasing threat of malware and cyber attacks that exist today, except that the addition of this feature is also a tactic to joining Intel Corporation in the smartphone market.

In this case, Intel is working through MacAfee, a computer security company that has bought Intel in 2010 and then to develop security management features embedded in the hardware and gadgets will work when connected to a remote server or cloud servers by providing protection up-to-date as detection and blocking malware, user authentication and IP address (Internet Protocol) it.

According to Dave DeWalt, McAfee president at this time there are more than 8 million types of malware in circulation, most commonly stored in the software. By embed security features directly into the computer chip it will be easier to manage security gadgets remotely though. Intel is also developing a special device that is able to remove the infected software remotely as well as adding encryption and memorial sites. When the project is successful, this secure chip technology can be utilized by not only smartphones, but also for laptops, computers, and other eleltronik devices.
